I evaluate many tools to help me get things done. Most don't make the cut. Here are some of the key tools I currently use and recommend:
I am technology consultant and eProductivity specialist and I 've been working Lotus Notes since 1993
My story in action management began in the mid 1980's when I received a contract to teach a course on systems analysis and design methodologies for the Navy

erm. IBM?

And my next question is, why is this important!?
If the platform meets the bussines needs, go for it. And furthermore, one of the biggest IT companies in the world is behind this platform.

Michael, they want to setup a meetup or something similar.

Michael, as I wrote in the blog post, the customer is already an enterprise use of Domino for close to two decades. As far as I know, they are happy with Lotus Notes. I believe their interest was that they wanted to network with other users of Lotus Notes or IBM Collaboration software in the area. Unrelated, I was looking to arange a meetup in Boston, but this request came from my customer.

For networking, they could join the friendly folks at the New England Lotus User Group: { Link }

Ahh, sorry i misunderstood. Thought they reconsidered the platform, based how many already used it in their local area ;-). Sorry.
Happy to see so many good enterprises using one of the best platforms i have worked with.

I work in Merrimack NH for a company that designs and builds medical devices. We use home built Notes apps to support our Manufacturing and Quality systems. We don't use it for messaging other than email sent from apps to users. We're small but it keeps our production floor going.

Doug Finner...could you contact me. I work for a medical device company in Colorado Springs...and I am fighting to keep IBM Notes in the house. I would like to compare notes with you.
Sorry Eric for hijacking this thread.

Hi Wayne. No Problem. Let me know if I can help. I run into this all the time. One thing I have found to be effective is to shift the conversation from technology to VALUE creation.
