My Productivity Toolkit

Sunday, April 8th, 2007

I evaluate many tools to help me get things done. Most don't make the cut. Here are some of the key tools I currently use and recommend:

  • Activewords

  • Business Plan Professional

  • Camtasia Studio

  • CommonTime mNotes

  • Dragon Naturally Speaking

  • eProductivity for Lotus Notes

  • GTD Methodology

  • GoodSync

  • GyroQ

  • Lenovo X61 Tablet PC

  • Lotus Notes

  • MindManager

  • Microsoft OneNote

  • Personal Brain

  • SameTime

  • Skype

  • SnagIt

  • Sybase iAnywhere

  • ThumbsPlus

  • Tablet Utilities

To get on this list, the tool (or methodolgy, as the case may be) has to "stick." That is, I have to find productive benefit and use the product consistently, usually for many weeks. I review the list every so often and add or remove products as appropriate. I've blogged about most of these products in some way or another. Use the search function on this blog or over on my personal blog to find more.

As time permits, I hope to update this page with links and some reviews I've written.
